The Gig Nursing Program at Mercy offers flexible and incentivized opportunities for LPNs to work in various departments. As a participant, you will have the freedom to choose your shifts and work environment, while still meeting the minimum hour requirements. This program is designed to accommodate the unique needs and preferences of LPNs, providing a safe and supportive environment for patient care.
Program Requirements
To participate in the Gig Nursing Program, you must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and be a licensed LPN. You should also have one year of recent bed-side LPN experience and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements. Additionally, you must be available to work on short notice and be flexible with your scheduling needs.

We value our employees and provide a safe and supportive environment for patient care. As a participant in the Gig Nursing Program, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments, including Med Surg, and choose from 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts. While participation in the program does not guarantee shift hours, we will be the first for cancellation.
