Job Summary:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, reporting outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation and adherence to facility policies.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with a strong foundation in patient care and assessment.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with a current RN license and certification in Labor and Delivery (if required by the facility).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and patients.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, with physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
