Educational Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Educational Mental Health Specialist to support the academic and emotional well-being of students in our school district near Manhattan, NY.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a School Psychologist. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans, and assist in implementing school-wide programs promoting mental health and positive behavior.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students with special needs
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of school-wide programs promoting mental health and positive behavior
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid state licensure or certification required
- Experience in schools preferred
The selected candidate will be hired on as a full-time contracted employee through Soliant Health. While undergoing your assignment, you will be provided with competitive compensation, weekly paychecks, and superior healthcare benefits.
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
