Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our clinic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various lab procedures as needed and in accordance with competency.
- Assist providers in examination and treatment of patients, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist providers with patient-related calls.
- Assist with scheduling tests, appointments, and pre-certification.
- Document patient information and assist providers with medication refills.
- Administer medications and immunizations according to provider order.
- Clean and restock exam rooms, and maintain equipment in accordance with policy.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including filing and completing routine forms.
Requirements:
- CERT
- LVN License in the state of employment or compact
- BLS
