Architect III

We are seeking an experienced Architect III to lead projects and teams at VCBO Architecture.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled architect with expertise in project management, design development, and construction documentation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Evaluate and select architectural and design methods for project assignments, including programming, design development, and coordination and production construction documents.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects from conceptualization to completion.
• Prepare and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members through effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Develop and implement design solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Architecture or related field required.
• 7-10 years of experience as an architect, with a minimum 5 years in project leadership roles.
• Licensed Architect desired but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and flexibility to focus on multiple projects in various stages of development.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, LEED AP, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to review and respond to submittal and RFI documentation with sufficient knowledge and understanding of the project and industry.
