We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Goodyear. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic automotive services, including mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic automotive services, including tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
- Work with mid and senior level technicians to learn additional automotive services and improve skills.
- Provide excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
- Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods of time, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
- Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
- Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or previous formal automotive training.
