Technology Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Data Officer to join our team at Truist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex IT projects, partnering with business leaders, and ensuring the delivery of projects according to Enterprise Technology policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand IT processes and restrictions
- Monitor progress of the team relative to established objectives and priorities
- Manage performance and provide coaching as needed
- Organize, plan, and manage projects
- Adapt plans to meet service and/or operational challenges
- Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, and organizational challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and ten years of experience managing complex IT projects or equivalent education and related training or experience
- Demonstrated experience in project management/delivery teams
- Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services
- Knowledge of technology structures that incorporate variable staffing evolving platforms, cost and value arbitrage value propositions
- Broad view of how industry and technology changes impact technology and client experience through digital channels
- Strong business acumen and domain expertise in the assigned portfolio
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Master's degree or MBA, and eight years of progressive experience managing complex IT projects
- Banking or financial services experience
- Understanding Technology processes critical to a large bank (Cyber, Core Technology, Etc.)
- Well-versed in managing distributed teams comprised of both onshore and offshore
Working Conditions
- Frequently (25% - 50% of the time)
- Up to 25 lbs.
- Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone
- Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers
- Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need
- Up to 25%
Benefits
All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position. Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to teammates. Teammates also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full-time or part-time status) during their first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays.
