About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our team at Coral Gables Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in phlebotomy and be certified in phlebotomy. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with computers.
Responsibilities:
- Collect venous blood samples from patients
- Perform skin punctures and finger sticks as needed
- Process specimens and deliver them to different sections of the laboratory
- Provide clerical support as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification a must
- Phlebotomy Registry preferred
- Current BLS Certification
