Key Responsibilities- Perform, evaluate, and report technical laboratory procedures on patient specimens for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- Follow established procedures to ensure laboratory quality control and compliance with professional standards of practice.
- Perform accurate and appropriate testing of specimens received in the laboratory, according to established laboratory protocol and procedures.
- Report test results in a timely manner according to established laboratory protocols.
- Follow established procedures for laboratory quality control, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
- Effectively manage resources such as productivity, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- Serve as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist Program (Required)
- Clinical Lab Supervisor License (SU LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
- Clinical Lab Technologist License (TN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
The Clinical Laboratory Technologist will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with exposure to biological hazards, cytotoxic chemicals, hazardous chemicals, computer monitors, and moving mechanical parts.
