Transportation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Transportation Engineer to join our team at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience in transportation design and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support traffic-safety studies and road safety assessments
  • Conduct transportation planning documentation and research
  • Prepare written planning documents and assemble reports
  • Contract documents, including specifications
  • Document and communicate findings from field observations and data collection

Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • ~0-1 year of professional transportation engineering experience
  • ~1-3 years of professional transportation engineering experience preferred
  • Engineer in Training certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months, preferred
  • MicroStation, AutoCAD / Civil3D, InRoads, HyrdroCAD experience a plus
