Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) needed.
The Rehabilitation Support Specialist is tasked with performing direct or indirect delegated responsibilities under the supervision of licensed professionals such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and BCBA.
Position Details:
Part-time: 15-20 hours per week.
Availability required Monday through Friday in the afternoons until 6:30 PM.
Exact schedule to be finalized.
Starting compensation $18.29 per hour.

The Rehabilitation Support Specialist carries out essential activities to enhance the comfort, mobility, and independence of residents. This position supports licensed professionals, enabling them to effectively fulfill their responsibilities.Responsibilities:
The following is a list of specific duties considered essential functions of this role. This list is not exhaustive, as all duties are subject to change based on organizational needs.
The employee in this position is expected to undertake any/all tasks assigned by management, regardless of whether such duties are explicitly included in this list.
While an effort has been made to thoroughly describe the customary manner in which this role is performed, reasonable accommodations will be made upon notification for qualified individuals with disabilities who may not be able to perform the job as described.
Assisting in the admission process of residents.Reporting any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
Documenting aspects of care in medical records and aide logs.
Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and dental care.
Performing restorative and rehabilitative procedures such as ambulation, range of motion exercises, and positioning residents.
Feeding and assisting with all other daily living activities.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Providing emotional support and social interaction.
Preventing accidents and infections.
Learning and applying safety protocols.
Maintaining confidentiality.
Understanding and complying with the Residents' Bill of Rights.
Ensuring resident safety.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of the State Certification Examination for OTA or PTA.
Must hold a valid state COTA or PTA license.
Responsible for ongoing continuing education.
