Barback Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Barback to join our team at Moctezuma's Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of cocktails and beverages.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with guests, clearing the bar, and delivering exceptional service.
• Support other areas of the restaurant as needed, including setup, cleanup, and prep work.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Requirements:

• Prior restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Basic math and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and restaurant needs.

Working Conditions:

Bussers are on their feet most of the time and typically work about 30-40 hours a week. During busy dining periods, they are under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation:

$16.28 plus tips for Bellevue, Tacoma, Gig Harbor, and Silverdale locations. $19.29 plus tips for Tukwila location.
