Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Unit Director to join our team at Heritage Nursing & Rehabilitation Community. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Plan, organize, and administer a broad program of nursing services for all licensed units, under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
- Resident Care: Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care/related services for residents in accordance with their care plan.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and complete treatments based on residents' needs.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least three (3) years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care environment, with most of which should be in a management role.
- Qualifications: Current RN License, ability to administer medication and IV certification, and good working knowledge of State Rules/Regulations.
- Personal Qualities: A passion for caring for and improving the lives of our residents, a positive can-do attitude, and excellent attendance.
