Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

At Pyramid Healthcare, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to those we serve. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

The Behavioral Health Technician will work closely with our clinical team to provide support and care to patients in our inpatient rehab center. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to and from behavioral healthcare services
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, self, and co-workers
  • Communicate effectively with team members, co-workers, and patients in a positive and professional manner
  • Take initiative to deliver exceptional customer service, even during times of stress
  • Knowledgeable of all aspects and functionalities of the client transportation system
  • Provide appropriate safety oversight and monitoring for all clients while in transport
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills to interact with all patients and staff
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Requires frequent extended transports
  • Must be able to sit for long periods
  • Excellent customer service skills
Work Environment:
  • Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances
  • Possible exposure to patient elements
  • Handles emergency or crisis situations
  • Subject to many interruptions and pressure to multiple calls and inquiries
  • Occasionally subject to irregular hours
  • Handles absentee replacement on short notice
  • Personal protective equipment (masks) required when transporting patients
