About Fareva: Fareva is a prominent contract manufacturer specializing in pharmaceutical and personal care products. Our facility is designed for efficiency and comfort, housing over 600 dedicated employees within a climate-controlled space exceeding 745,000 square feet.

Position Overview: The selected candidate will ensure the reliable and compliant operation of advanced automated machinery while fostering continuous improvement through electrical and PLC technologies. Responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks including electronics, electrical control systems, process control, hydraulics, and basic mechanical skills. This role may also involve direct collaboration with the line team to perform essential packaging functions, including operation, quality assurance, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the Area Manager, oversee all activities related to ongoing and new production initiatives.
  • Ensure timely project completion and adherence to production schedules to maintain adequate supply levels for customer demand.
  • Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of various filling and packaging equipment, focusing on electromechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair programmable logic controllers (PLC), operator interfaces, and other electrical components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and safety systems to uphold operational integrity.
  • Analyze downtime and OEE data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP, PPG, and regulatory standards to ensure product quality and employee safety.
  • Foster productive relationships within the production team to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
  • Manage the Preventative Maintenance System within SAP, ensuring all equipment is validated and functioning optimally.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical trades is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Possession of a journeyman's card or electrical certification is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Technical expertise in high-speed mixing and packaging equipment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with familiarity in lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in FDA or ISO regulated environments is highly desirable.
