This role is centered on business development in support of INDOPACOM and is contingent upon award.

As an analyst, you will be responsible for producing intelligence assessments, ensuring comprehensive situational awareness of ground operations, and contributing to Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE). You will integrate intelligence reports from various sources and provide evaluations, feedback, and recommendations for refining intelligence collection efforts to address existing gaps. Your research will involve drafting, coordinating, and publishing predictive all-source analysis products concerning foreign military capabilities, order of battle, and indications and warnings to inform senior leadership and guide operations. Topics of focus will include ground operations, military capabilities, C4ISREW, strategic assessments, and competitive analysis. You will collaborate with theater service components and INDOPACOM J2 to ensure that USARPAC and theater requirements are effectively communicated and met.

Qualifications:

JOURNEYMAN: A Journeyman level requires 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. This level typically involves performing all functional duties independently.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI

Physical Requirements: The position necessitates extensive use of computing systems, including PCs or laptops. Duties may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Sufficient mobility is required, including bending, reaching, turning, and kneeling to fulfill daily responsibilities efficiently. The role may involve climbing and working in confined spaces. Candidates must be able to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended durations and work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures. Lifting and transporting equipment up to 50 pounds may be necessary, and moderate to long-distance walking could be required due to parking constraints. Occasional travel to other sites may also be necessary.

Work Environment: The work is primarily conducted in an office setting, which may include cubicles with considerations for close quarters, low to moderate noise, and varying lighting conditions. The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, and management at all levels is essential. The position does not involve hazards or unusual environmental conditions, and limited travel (up to 10% of the time) may be required.

Equipment and Machines: Proficiency in operating office equipment such as personal computers, printers, copiers, telephones, and other necessary tools is required.

Attendance: Regular working hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Consistent attendance is crucial for meeting deadlines and attending meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are vital, with flexibility in work hours to accommodate critical mission requirements.

Essential Functions: Professional conduct is expected at all times when interacting with customers, management, and colleagues. Clear, concise, and accurate communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary. Appropriate grooming and attire for the position are required, ensuring no safety risks to employees or others. Maintaining a positive work atmosphere through professional behavior and communication is essential. Independent transportation to the office or work site is required, and travel to customer locations may be necessary to support projects. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, adherence to safety protocols, including wearing seat belts and refraining from using cellular devices while driving, is mandatory. Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required. A commitment to professional behavior that enhances productivity and fosters teamwork is essential.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $82,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. Individual compensation within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
