Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute standard teller operations while engaging directly with customers. Ensure efficient service for clients while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Responsible for managing and reconciling cash supplies for transactions.
  • Comply with all cash handling protocols and ensure accurate cash balancing at the conclusion of each shift.
  • Process a range of client transactions, from basic to more intricate, following established protocols and security measures. This includes handling deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, book transfers, and transactions received via mail or drop-off.
  • Assist clients with account inquiries, including statement copies, check orders, account closures, and safe deposit access.
  • Promote the Bank's offerings with enthusiasm and professionalism. Identify customer needs and provide relevant information about products and services. Foster awareness of new offerings and identify opportunities for business referrals.
  • Monitor client transactions for any suspicious activities and fraudulent items. Stay informed about current scams targeting banking customers to prevent fraud. Direct clients to management for unresolved issues.
  • Compile data and prepare various reports and forms (e.g., Currency Transaction Reports, Reg CC, holds, overdrafts) to ensure adherence to Bank policies, the Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace while presenting a professional demeanor. Complete required compliance training promptly and engage in branch and regional initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in banking or cash handling is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to customer service.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and providing solutions to customer inquiries using available resources.
  • Capability to effectively communicate the advantages and benefits of the Bank's services and products.
