Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy services in San Diego, CA. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pharmacy Operations: Assist pharmacists with preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications and supplies in accordance with physicians' prescriptions.
  • Customer Service: Deliver quality customer service to patients and medical practitioners, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with overseeing the acquisition and disbursement of drugs and medications to clinical sites and offices, ensuring accurate inventory levels and compliance with storage and recordkeeping regulations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, as well as proper storage and documentation of pharmaceuticals, particularly controlled substances.
  • Education and Support: Provide support, education, and oversight for investigational medications for patients, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
Requirements
  • Certification: Current unrestricted license or certificate to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of assignment, if required. Certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ICPT) may be required or preferred.
  • Experience: One year of pharmacy tech experience.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
