Assistant Vice President

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President to join our Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG) practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage REIT experience, with expertise in financial statement preparation, SEC compliance, and real estate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with clients, managing client expectations and meeting all client deliverables
- Manage and review the daily accounting and financial reporting for REIT
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheet, statement of investments, statement of operations, and statement of cash flows
- Prepare and review general ledger and work paper files, including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals
- Prepare required monthly share class pricing
- Help manage year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
- 5+ years of mortgage REIT experience
- Financial statement preparation experience, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Experience with NAV calculations, including management and performance fee calculations
