About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our medical imaging team at Texas Health Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures with precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality mammography services to patients, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Quality Assurance/Control: Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Non-Direct Patient Care: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Patient Safety: Prioritize patient safety and well-being in all aspects of care.
  • Leadership/Responsibility: Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or Associate's Degree.
  • Experience: 1 Year clinical experience in mammography preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Upon Hire REQUIRED and ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography Upon Hire preferred or ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography 12 Months REQUIRED and CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire REQUIRED and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly REQUIRED.
  • Skills: Ability to produce high-quality mammography with special views as directed by the radiologist, excellent verbal and writing skills, and ability to organize and analyze information.
