Cutter Operator

Transcendia, Inc. is seeking a skilled Cutter Operator to join our production team. As a Cutter Operator, you will be responsible for cutting master sheets to customer specifications, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
• Ensure a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures
• Follow detailed instructions for cutting master sheets
• Identify and report poor quality material to the supervisor and/or Quality Control
• Record jobs into the computer with accurate usage to maintain inventory
• Notify the supervisor/team lead of equipment needing repair
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

• High School diploma and/or equivalent and one year of related experience
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to maintain production standards
• Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact professionally with coworkers and other departments
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work as a team member or independently
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 50#'s
• Ability to read a micrometer
• Ability to stand for 8 hours with some bending and lifting involved
