About the Role

Transdev is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in Victoria, TX. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including heavy trucks and buses
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles are in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Class B CDL with passenger endorsement required; ASE certification preferred
  • Intermediate mechanical aptitude and 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
