Huttig Building Products is seeking an experienced candidate to join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Assembler II. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating prepared components required to construct pre-hung door units.

• Prepare components for assembly and assemble units in accordance with specifications provided on work tickets.
• Read and understand drawings to assemble special requirements of door assemblies.
• Calculate measurements of finished assemblies per work order.
• Train employees on aspects of the Assembler II position, including jam/frame/sill prep, safe and efficient machine operations, and assembly of door styles and types.
• Clean work area and maintain a safe work environment.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as chop saws, door machines, and drills.
