We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Clinical Therapist, School-Based Health, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide clinical therapy and support to patients and families with complex psychosocial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning with patients and families.
  • Provide short- and long-term psychotherapy to students and families using evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Complete all documentation in the electronic medical record, accurately reflecting the patient's current condition, situational factors, and psychosocial imperatives.
  • Refer and educate patients/families regarding community resources and provide follow-up.
  • Engage in clinical and professional consultation and supervision.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives based on patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrate responsibility for own professional growth and development.
  • Provide mental health evidenced-based curriculum to students and track and enter data for grant reports.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
  • 2 years of relevant experience with youth in clinical therapy and crisis intervention.
  • LIC-Professional Counselor (LPC) or LIC-Master Social Worker (MSW) in the State of Michigan.
Work Environment

This role is based at Woodhaven High School Van Horn - Brownstown and is a full-time position with a variable schedule.
