Position Overview:
Fives DTS is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will serve as the electrical team lead for various automotive and industrial initiatives. Your role will involve:
  • Leading selected projects and overseeing the work of designers and AutoCAD operators.
  • Providing support on additional projects as needed.

Core Duties:
You will:
  • Act as the electrical team leader for designated projects.
  • Engage with clients to clarify project objectives, showcase progress, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Assist other project leaders with specific design tasks or calculations.
  • Conduct typical design activities, including power distribution at low and medium voltage, industrial lighting design, control systems, grounding system design, and power study analysis.
  • Mentor and guide designers and junior staff members.

Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include:
  • OSHA 10/30 hour Construction Certificate (mandatory OSHA Construction Certification).
  • Experience in consulting on design aspects related to power distribution, lighting, and grounding within automotive and industrial environments.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required, qualifying for licensure in the relevant state. Certification as an Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) is preferred, with a focus on PE tracking.
