Job Summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing psychological assessments, counseling, and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments

Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify students' needs and develop effective intervention strategies.

Provide Counseling Services

Offer individual and group counseling services to students to address emotional, social, and academic issues.

Collaborate with Educational Teams

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.

Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Meetings

Participate in regular team meetings to review students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary.

Develop School-Wide Programs

Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote a positive school climate.

Crisis Intervention and Support

Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.

Maintain Confidential Records

Maintain accurate and confidential records of student services and progress.

Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
  • Valid School Psychologist Certification/License
  • Previous Experience in a School Setting
  • Strong Understanding of Child and Adolescent Development
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to Work Collaboratively with Diverse Groups
