Job Description:
- Emergency Department (ED) volume: 20,000 visits annually.
- 24 hours of physician coverage available, with 12hour shifts.
- 10 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage daily.
- Patient admission rate: 12%.
- Use of Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Patient encounters per shift: 272
- Nearest airports include major hubs.
- Lodging includes several chain hotel options.
Facility Information:
- Trauma Level: 0
- Facility PE
Support Services:
- Support services available 24 hours for Anesthesia, Catheterization Lab, General Surgery, Laboratory, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology.
- No cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, or vascular surgery support.
- No OR response time requirements.
- Newborns are not delivered in the ED; there is a Labor & Delivery department.
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days, provided a clean file is submitted.
*This position does not accept providers within a 50-mile radius to prevent tying up local resources.*
