Job Summary:

As a Medical Supervisor at Acadia Healthcare, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care on our medical units. This includes collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams, enforcing and interpreting policies, and ensuring proper staffing and chart checks. You will also be responsible for rounding, auditing, and documenting patient care processes and outcomes. Additionally, you will assist the Director of Nursing in ensuring facility compliance with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure patient care needs are met
Enforce and interpret policies for patient care delivery
Ensure proper staffing and chart checks
Round and audit patient care processes and outcomes
Document medical, behavioral health information, and nursing care
Administer medications and maintain records
Assist in updating and revising the plan of care
Prioritize tasks and delegate staff to ensure quality patient care
Leader on shift for admissions and discharges

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
Three or more years' experience in nursing practice
One or more years' experience in med/surg nursing preferred
One or more years' experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
One or more years' experience in a supervisory or charge position preferred
Current RN license as required by state
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required
First aid may be required based on state or facility
