Position Overview:

Job Details:

As a Pest Control Operative, you will receive a competitive salary complemented by performance bonuses, commissions, and overtime opportunities, with potential earnings reaching up to £35,000.

Your responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, responding to emergency service calls, and managing pest control tasks at both large food production facilities and smaller retail establishments. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

As part of a close-knit team, you may be required to assist in other areas during team members' absences. Effective time management and workload planning are crucial.

Flexibility in your work schedule is expected, including occasional weekend and after-hours duties, which will be compensated either as overtime or time off in lieu.

Qualifications:

Experience in the food sector is advantageous. We provide training and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Relevant qualifications such as RSPH/BPCA certifications are preferred.

Any training in food safety or health and safety is beneficial.

Strong report writing and communication skills are required.

A valid, clean driving license is necessary.

All necessary equipment, including a vehicle and mobile phone, will be provided to facilitate your work.

There will be a probationary period of three months, after which successful candidates will be invited to participate in additional performance-based incentive programs.
