Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). As a valued member of our team, you will provide individualized therapy services to patients, helping them recover and improve their communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication skills following illness, injury, or surgery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy services in patients' homes to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to enhance communication and functional abilities.
  • Document patient evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

Requirements:

  • A valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • A degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Experience in home health settings is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

$2150 per week. Patient-related travel mileage reimbursement.
