Key Responsibilities- Assign and manage daily tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Communicate patient data and information to healthcare teams to support informed decision-making.
- Assist with or perform exams and procedures, and document patient interventions in our electronic health record system.
- Administer or assist with medication administration and documentation.
- Support the goals of our unit by attending meetings and sharing information with staff.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current healthcare issues and treatment modalities.
- Monitor patient access to care and ensure that housing areas are properly managed.
- Ensure that physical counts of sharps, instruments, and keys are accurate and documented.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and directing management functions for the unit.

Registered Nurses working day shifts earn an extra $4.00 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts. Night shift employees earn an extra $4.00 per hour for Monday through Friday shifts and an additional $4.00 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
