Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a proactive and compassionate nurse, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and exceptional patient outcomes.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Exemplary Practice and Outcomes
    • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the delivery of clinical care, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized care.
    • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to population-specific characteristics, promoting cultural diversity and inclusivity.
    • Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve goals, utilizing effective communication methods and timely documentation.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
    • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
    • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by practicing fiscally responsible care and promoting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
  • Professional Development and Initiative
    • Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
    • Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, promoting a healthy work environment and modeling professional practice.
  • Evidence-Based Practice and Research
    • Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing, participating in activities such as value analysis.
    • Uphold all healthcare system/organizational policies and procedures, clinical competencies, and legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
  • Resources and Support
    • Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum, utilizing efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
    • Participate in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
Required Minimum Education and Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (preferred)
  • Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact, Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and hold basic computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills, with strong critical thinking skills
