About the Job:
The Senior Survey Manager will oversee all aspects of our survey projects, including strategic planning, client collaboration, contractual management, financial management, communication, and culture development. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our geospatial operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Business Plans: Develop and execute annual business plans that guide our survey efforts towards exceptional outcomes.
- Collaborate with Clients: Collaborate closely with clients and management to define project objectives and create comprehensive proposals that meet their needs.
- Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate and secure signed contracts with clients before project kick-off.
- Manage Invoicing: Manage project invoicing and accounts receivable collection to ensure alignment with contractual agreements.
- Foster Collaboration: Foster internal communication and encourage dialogue across teams to promote a collaborative environment.
- Drive Growth: Drive growth through marketing support, presentations, proposal follow-ups, and nurturing client relationships.
- Maintain Documentation: Maintain efficient project documentation and collaboration via web-based software.
- Mentor Team Members: Coach, counsel, and mentor team members to empower their professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in survey project management and leadership roles.
- Tech Expertise: Ability to independently apply fundamental engineering, environmental, land planning, and survey concepts.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in a related field (surveying, engineering, or similar) is required; advanced degree is a plus.
