Parkridge East Hospital is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Hold current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and CPI
    • Meet the requirements for Basic Pediatric Facility designation, Level III NICU, L&D Birthplace, Primary Stroke Accreditation, and Chest Pain Accreditation
  • Emergency Department Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting
  • Advanced Skills
    • Charge Nurse experience for alternate charge roles
    • Ability to perform standard ED procedures and provide support to physicians for difficult procedures such as LP, intubation, and central line placement
  • Schedule and Unit Information
    • Varying scheduling requirements based on contract requests
    • 19-bed Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 4:1
    • Unit staffing includes RNs, unit secretaries, PCTs, paramedics, security guards, and armed officers
    • GE Cardiac Monitoring, MobiLab, I-mobile, and Care Team Assignments (CTA) equipment
    • Meditech documentation system
    • Floating policy encouraged but not required
    • Patient Experience requirements include AIDET Validations and Nurse Leader care rounding
    • Dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs
