Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include:

  1. Executing Environmental Services tasks efficiently, adhering to the 7 Step Cleaning Process.
  2. Ensuring cleanliness and organization of cleaning carts, equipment, and waste disposal areas.
  3. Engaging positively with patients, families, and colleagues, providing assistance as needed.
  4. Utilizing cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
  5. Cleaning various areas including offices, patient rooms, common spaces, restrooms, and food service areas.
  6. Maintaining cleanliness of hallways, stairs, and other facilities through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  7. Reporting maintenance needs and participating in safety meetings and training sessions.
  8. Handling and disposing of Regulated Medical Waste and Chemo Waste as required.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Equivalent or GED (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
