Job Summary

As a key member of the SSM Health team, the MRI Technologist Lead will oversee the daily operations of the imaging services department. This role requires a strong focus on quality, patient care, and workflow management.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care through monitoring of patient documentation and timely completion.
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal department performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to department staff, as well as other team members, as needed.
  • Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching, and provide input for staff performance evaluations.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters for imaging procedures.
Requirements
  • Completion of a radiology or MRI certification program.
  • Two years of experience in a related field.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
