About the Role:
  • As a Nurse Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating patient care needs, prioritizing treatment, and maintaining patient flow in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • You will conduct thorough nursing assessments, take patient histories, and perform physical examinations to identify health issues and provide appropriate treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other licensed practitioners to arrange further medical treatment when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic medical records software.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate from an accredited nursing school or associate's degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from a four-year college or university is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support certification from AHA or ARC is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
Preferred Experience:
  • At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or ambulatory care clinic is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software is necessary.
