Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional evaluations and implement evidence-based interventions for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Educate patients, families, nursing staff, food service teams, and other healthcare personnel on nutritional needs.
- Document patient assessments, nutritional goals, and interventions in the medical records.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical teams regarding patients' nutritional health.
- Oversee physician orders for specialized diets and nutritional supplements.
- Participate in patient rounds and uphold clinical nutrition policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage with diverse individuals.
- Communication: Proficient in written, verbal, and non-verbal communication.

- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed as required by state laws.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards.
- Proficient in computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets.
