Position Overview:
This position involves unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles and disassembling pallets. You will assist various warehouse functions as needed, including sanitation, selection, and inventory management. Responsibilities may also include maintaining the cleanliness of trucks and trailers as per the distribution center's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Unload merchandise from trucks and disassemble pallets, organizing products for proper placement in warehouse storage.
2. Handle various items, including dry groceries, frozen foods, and other related products, ensuring accurate quantities as specified.
3. Assist with cleaning duties within the warehouse, including waste disposal and maintaining a sanitary environment.
4. Support the maintenance of trucks and trailers as required by the distribution center.
5. Check incoming products for damage and verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders.
6. Participate in order selection, assembling and labeling products for customer requests efficiently.
7. Adhere to safety protocols while lifting items weighing between 30-75 lbs, ensuring a secure work environment.
8. Maintain cleanliness by disposing of waste and promptly addressing spills in accordance with safety guidelines.
9. Operate industrial equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
10. Report any product damage or quality concerns to your supervisor.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with operating industrial equipment, such as electric pallet jacks, is preferred.
- Ability to perform essential job functions for 8-10 hour shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in English is necessary for understanding order forms and labels.
- Basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic are required.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must adhere to safety practices in line with company policies.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions as required.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role require frequent walking, standing, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. Employees may encounter varying temperatures and humidity levels within the warehouse environment. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this position. Flexibility in handling changing work requirements is also important.
