Position Overview: Dietary Assistant

The Dietary Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for residents within our community. As part of Volunteers of America National Services, you will contribute to a compassionate environment focused on health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring that the dining area is well-prepared for service.
  • Engage with residents during meal times, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dietary area.

Compensation: $15-16 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule: Flexible days with every other weekend required, totaling 32 hours bi-weekly.

Qualifications:
  • Willingness to work in a healthcare environment that prioritizes safety measures.
  • No prior experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, including recipes and dietary orders.
  • Proficiency in using computers and electronic devices for various tasks.
