We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at PS&S, LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide geotechnical engineering expertise to support the planning, design, and implementation of various projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creation of a geotechnical engineering team and manage project budgets.
  • Develop and implement geotechnical investigation and testing programs.
  • Compile and evaluate collected field and laboratory test data.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and design, including slope stability, settlement, and consolidation.
  • Assist with the preparation of written geotechnical reports and develop written narratives.
  • Observe and monitor earthwork and compaction, excavation support, footing subgrade preparation, and drilled shaft and pile installation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey, with registration in additional states a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with a strong background in driven and drilled pile construction, footings subgrade, and backfill inspection.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with computer programs including LPILE, SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, PLAXIS, AutoCAD, gINT, and Microsoft Office.
