About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Surgical Unit team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
- Recognize and respond to changes in a patient's condition, including post-op bleeding, pain issues, and post-anesthesia complications.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning with care providers, patient family, and physicians.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
