La Clinica de Familia Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Primary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, while also supervising dental assistants, hygienists, and receptionists.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide dental services and supervise dental staff to ensure excellent patient care.
- Ensure the safety of resources and maintain equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
The successful candidate will work under the general supervision of the Director of Dentistry and be responsible for managing, maintaining, and expanding a primary care and preventive dentistry program in a community health center.
Essential Qualifications:- Knowledge of English and Spanish (preferable).
- Knowledge of OSHA administration in dental practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle conflicts with tact and diplomacy.
- Knowledge of basic budgeting principles and procedures.
- Sensitivity to the socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic composition of LCDF's patient population.
- Ability and initiative to obtain knowledge of community services available to LCDF's patients.
- Degree of Doctor of Dentistry from an accredited and recognized institution by the American Dental Association.
- Current license to practice dentistry in New Mexico.
- Declaration of Authorization from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
- Certificate of Radiography Service.
- Certificate of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
