REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Experience:
    • A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
    • Experience in maintenance is advantageous.
  2. Customer Service:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Facility Maintenance Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the community. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Upholding the cleanliness and visual appeal of the community, including grounds, building exteriors, common areas, and amenities.
  • Executing repairs and replacements as required within the scope of management responsibilities.
  • Reviewing daily work order priorities with the Service Technician/Community Manager at the start and end of each day.
  • Adhering to company and community operational and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the grounds and delivering notices to residents.
  • Complying with all relevant state, federal, and local laws regarding Fair Housing.
  • Assisting in preventative maintenance tasks, including HVAC filter changes and other mechanical system checks.
  • Contributing to landscaping efforts for the community.
  • Carrying out interior and exterior painting tasks.
  • Replacing light bulbs and fixtures as needed.
  • Collecting litter and maintaining cleanliness in both interior and exterior spaces.
  • Supporting the office and maintenance teams as required.
  • Preparing vacant units for new residents.
  • Ensuring all necessary repairs and replacements are completed for units to be occupied.
  • Ensuring all trash is cleared from apartments during the make-ready process.
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned.
