Job Summary
Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a skilled Podiatrist Specialist to join our team as an independent medical contractor. As a specialist in lower extremities and foot and ankle care, you will provide non-surgical and surgical services to patients with work-related injuries.
About the Role
- Work on a contract basis, treating patients on site at Concentra for approximately 4 hours per week or biweekly.
- Collaborate with medical and therapy providers to provide specialist services and expedite return to work and functional restoration.
- Communicate with employers and take an active role in case management.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist services, including non-surgical and surgical treatments, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries.
- Communicate with employers and patients to ensure effective case management.
- Work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries.
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university.
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- Board Certification or eligibility in Podiatric Medicine.
- Medical Malpractice Insurance to cover you while on site.
