Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain molder equipment to produce high-quality wood products
  • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to manufacture moldings accurately
  • Select and install cutting heads on machines according to the pattern to be cut
  • Position patterns on molders and adjust guides, pressure bars, and table levels as needed
  • Start machines, place stock on feed tables, and press feed rollers against stock for feeding through machines
  • Inspect stock being cut to determine defects and verify dimensions using gauges, rules, or calipers
  • Provide quality control for finished products following AWI quality guidelines
  • Maintain molding room equipment and keep tooling neat and organized
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working in the architectural millwork industry preferred
  • Ability to read prints, work unsupervised, and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds regularly
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
