We are seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist Pool II to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a Recreation Therapist Pool II, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing experiential therapy programs in various treatment areas. Your expertise will be applied in an educational role with interdisciplinary staff and community resources.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement experiential therapy programs in specialized treatment areas.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
- Conduct experiential therapy sessions, evaluating and planning programming to meet patients' needs.
- Maintain a safe and well-supplied therapy environment.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans according to Rogers policy.
- Attend mandatory in-services and other relevant training sessions.
- BS/BA degree in art, music, dance, recreation, or other relevant therapies.
- Certification/registration through a credentialing board is preferred.
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification.
