Job Opportunity

The Swift Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to provide support for a prime contract that offers training and data science expertise. This position is located in Reston, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the customer's data science cadre's onboarding and training
  • Maintain and update data science tools and code

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 6-8 years experience
  • Demonstrated experience programming with Python
  • Demonstrated experience with general Linux computing, Conda, and Git
  • Demonstrated experience constructing complex multi-data source queries with SQL
  • Willingness and ability to debug code
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated experience using code repositories such as Git
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience documenting such artifacts as code, Python packages and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience using Jupyter Notebooks
  • Demonstrated experience explaining complex technical issues to more junior data scientists, in graphical, verbal, or written formats
  • US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
