Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Summit Placement Service, Inc.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced NP to work in an outpatient setting with a diverse population, including Mandarin-speaking patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Patient Assessments: Gather comprehensive medical histories, perform thorough physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients to create personalized plans for managing acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options to empower them in their healthcare journey.
  • Cultural Bridge: Provide clear and accurate communication to Mandarin-speaking patients, bridging the gap between language barriers and quality care.
  • Prescribe Medications: Safely prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of New York.
  • Certification: Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, etc.).
  • Mandarin Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $140,000 per year, negotiable. Additionally, you will receive a full benefits package, including excellent pay and benefits.
