Key Responsibilities- Perform on-site maintenance and repairs on HVAC mechanical equipment and controls.
- Participate in certified training programs to develop skills and knowledge in building automation and HVAC systems.
- Develop skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and customer needs through coaching and mentorship.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities are running efficiently, including upselling opportunities.
- Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
- Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
- Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical mechanical HVAC equipment on a job site.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Prioritize safety in all forms.
- Valid driver's license.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with tools.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude in the mechanical field.
- Able to use hand tools.
- 1+ years of industry experience or experience in servicing mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
- Generally required knowledge includes mechanical HVAC systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
- 1-2 years of trade school or college with a technical emphasis.
